ABOUT US

David and Sharon Haythornthwaite share a passionate and sentimental love for The Lake District and designed the Manor, based on years travelling the world in search of the very best money can buy, as a sanctuary where guests can experience the elegance of the past with the comforts of the present. Aynsome was the second Lake District property group in their Sedgwick Scott group portfolio, joining the exquisitely restored Cark Manor, just three miles away in Cark (www.carkmanor.com). Their commitment to excellence and detail is evident in every aspect of the Manor, from the meticulously restored architecture to the thoughtfully curated interiors including a sprinkling of their private art and furniture collection.
