Every room has been individually designed and caters to a variety of preferences, with all featuring luxurious linen including goosedown duvets and pillows. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, many with lavish Villeroy & Boch or Ashton and Bentley baths, as well as stunning views of the gardens or Cartmel countryside – one of the best areas to stay in the Lake District.
Room Three
As you step into the room you are greeted with an unrivalled view of the Cartmel Priory and neighbouring fields. Two window benches provide an excellent vantage point to relax and take in your picturesque surroundings.
Room Four
This deluxe room has a fantastic view of the Cartmel Priory and surrounding fields and includes an attractive, traditional window seat.
Room Five – Dog Friendly
This room is one of our luxury dog-friendly retreats, and has direct access via a private staircase to Bamford’s, our rear Courtyard and the main Hotel Lobby.
Room Six – Dog Friendly
This room is located on the dog-exclusive first floor and has direct access via a private staircase to Bamford’s, the rear Courtyard and the main Hotel Lobby.
Room Seven – Dog Friendly
This room is located on the dog-exclusive first floor, with a Courtyard view and has direct access via a private staircase to Bamford’s and the main Hotel Lobby.
Room Eight – Dog Friendly
This room is located at the end of the corridor on the dog-exclusive first floor, with an amazing countryside view and direct access via a private staircase to Bamford’s, the Courtyard and the main Hotel Lobby.
Room Ten
This room is one of our most loved lakeland retreats, accessed from the main Lobby of the hotel and is on the second floor. A unique room with high ceilings and exposed, original beams, it has been tastefully furnished with an eclectic range of fixtures and fittings.
Room Eleven
This room is located on our second floor and retains all its original features with high-vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and has been finished with the highest quality furnishings.
Room Twelve
This extra-special room is located at the very end of the corridor on the second floor and features a large, in-room, free-standing Ashton and Bentley bath, as well as a separate bathroom with a large walk-in shower.
